Region:
Primarily from home, although there is a requirement to visit the NYAS
office or alternative venues, including Court attendances.. To work sessionally and carry out independent and confidential advocacy work in accordance with NYAS' aims and objectives. To empower and enable children and young people to have a voice by providing information, advice, support and advocacy. To assist with training and development work in support of the aims and objectives of NYAS. This is a self employed position and you will be paid a sessional rate.

Yorkshire, Teeside, Liverpool, Gloucestershire We are looking for highly motivated, child focused, sessional advocates who will promote the wishes and feelings of young people. You will need to be committed to listening to children and young people, with a relevant professional qualification in a child care related field, (such as social work, youth work, law, teaching, psychology, etc) preferably with a minimum of three years' post qualifying experience including direct work with young people. Experience of working with children with learning difficulties and physical disabilities is desirable. Any offers of employment will be subject to satisfactory references and a CRB disclosure.
