This December, our Big Give Christmas Challenge match funding campaign is back!
For one week only, between 2 and 9 December, when you donate to the NYAS Big Give Christmas Challenge, your donation will be doubled! That’s right, one donation, double the difference! Together with your support, we can change the future for children in care.
When: Make your donation from 12pm on Tuesday 2 December to 12pm on Tuesday 9 December.

All donations will be doubled by our Big Give Champion The Monday Charitable Trust and a generous supporter until we reach our target of £50,000.
Your support will change lives
Every 15 minutes, a child enters the care system in the UK, and their entire world is turned upside down. Too often, they are met not with compassion, but with stigma. Labelled as ‘looked-after children’, they are perceived differently, listened to less, and left feeling invisible. Many face life without a consistent adult to guide them, without someone to listen, and without a voice in decisions that shape their future. Your support can help change that.
Examples of donations:
- £5 becomes £10 – which allows our helpline to answer a call from a young person in need.
- £15 becomes £30 – to fund a volunteer befriender for a child in care.
- £25 becomes £50 – to amplify a child’s voice through advocacy.
- £250 becomes £500 – to provide a bursary for a care leaver for a brighter future.
The more we raise during campaign week, the more young lives we can change.
Remember, only donations made between 12pm on Tuesday 2 December to 12pm on Tuesday 9 December will be doubled, so put in it your diary or calendar now!
