Coming through the child protection process can be a difficult and complex time for children and young people. Understanding the process enables advocates to support them more effectively.
This course is recommended for advocacy professionals who already undertake child protection advocacy, or advocates wishing to develop their understanding to be able to do so.
The goal of any child protection process is for relevant agencies, organisations, and the government to work together with one united goal; to protect, promote, and safeguard the welfare of children. This includes identifying children who are at risk of harm and implementing support for them to reach their full potential.
