This course will help advocates and other professionals to understand the complaints process, and to gain confidence in supporting children and young people who wish to make representation against their local authority (in England and Wales).
This course is recommended for practitioners and anyone wishing to learn more about supporting young people through the complaints process.
It's important that children and young people understand their rights and entitlements. A key part of that is their right to speak up when they are not treated fairly.
Complaints process can often be complex to navigate, especially for younger children or young people who have never had to make a complaint before. Supporting children and young people to understand the complaints process is one of the many ways professionals can help them to make their voices heard.
