Together we can make a difference
Every year there are around 80,000 children and young people in the care system across England and Wales. Many thrive in the care system, having been removed from their birth families while others are frightened and vulnerable. NYAS makes sure all of the young people’s voices are heard and their wishes and feelings are taken into account. We initiate ground-breaking projects to change the lives of young people and campaign on issues that improve their lives.
Businesses like yours can help us with this work. By partnering with NYAS you can help us directly impact care experienced young people’s lives.
Good for business
Research shows that working with charities can be good for your business.
Stand out from the crowd – working with charities can help to position a business as distinctive in ever competing marketplaces; after all the public like to buy products and services from companies that give something back.
Invested staff – employees are often more inspired and motivated when helping charities linked to their workplace. Motivated staff are productive staff.
Creating a buzz – working with a charity could also mean interesting stories for your business on social media, in press releases and your website.
Our experienced fundraising team will work closely with you to create a plan for your partnership with NYAS which helps us to solve problems, celebrate successes and face challenges together.
Each partnership we create is unique, and depends on your preferences, but some examples of how you could help us help children in care include:
- Employee fundraising
- Charity of year & beyond
- Payroll giving
- Running an event
- Taking part in NYAS fundraising initiatives
- Dedicating a product or services where a percentage of the cost goes to NYAS
Whatever way you’d like to fundraise we’d love to hear from you.
