As a leading advocacy and children’s rights charity across England and Wales, NYAS understands many of the issues faced by children and young people, and the professionals working with them.
The NYAS training offer includes a wide range of specialist training courses that address many of these issues. Through these courses, we aim to empower professionals to provide the highest quality of support to those vulnerable individuals in their care.
Please note that all of our training courses are currently being delivered online as live webinars. You can expect the same quality of content as our face-to-face courses, redesigned to meet the demands of virtual delivery.
For further information and bespoke dates, please contact the NYAS Learning and Development team at training@nyas.net
All of our training courses have been developed by our experienced in-house Learning and Development team, and are informed by the work we carry out as a charity with children and young people across a range of settings.
Our webinars can be accessed from the comfort of your own home, saving on expenses such as accommodation, travel, and meals. There is no traffic, no travel time.
Most of the webinars last for three hours, making it easier to find the time to dedicate to your professional development during a typical working day.
Unlike most e-learning courses, our training is delivered live by one of our in-house trainers – which means that you can ask questions and receive feedback in real time. You can take part in polls and quizzes, too.
