Run For Charity
A charity run is typically an organised running event that is designed to help people raise money for a cause or charity that they’re passionate about. When you attend a charity run, people can raise money for the charity of their choice, so running for NYAS is a fantastic option.
Running challenges for charity take place all over the UK, and it’s important to find one that is the right fit for you. Some events will require a sign up fee, and they will vary in length, so it’s important that you check all of the criteria before committing to a race.
We have partnered with Run For Charity so that we can share all of the running challenges for charity that are taking place in your local area and beyond.

The London Marathon is probably the biggest and most well-known marathon in the UK [...] I decided to fundraise for NYAS as I have been an Independent Visitor (IV) for around three years, and I believe that the work they do is essential.

Virtual Run For Charity Events
You may not feel ready to dive in to a race with lots of other people right now, and that’s ok! Running in a crowd can be quite overwhelming, especially if you’re just starting out with your running training.
A virtual running challenge is a great alternative. You can run at your own pace, in your own space and on your own terms.
If you're interested in taking part in a virtual run for NYAS, get in touch with our Fundraising Team by emailing fundraising@nyas.net.
