We will ask that you complete a short online application form and attach a current CV. Please ensure your CV includes your employment and education history as well as any achievements and qualification gained.
Any gaps in your employment history will need to be explained - a section for this is provided on the application form.

hen completing the application form, it is important that you refer to the job description/person specification and detail how you can evidence the criteria.
We will contact you by e-mail within 2 weeks of the closing date to inform you whether your application has been successfully shortlisted or not.

You will receive an invite to interview by e-mail in advance of the advertised interview date. Within the invitation, you will receive notification of:
- Venue
- Date/Time
- Who will be interviewing you
- Information on documentation you need to bring
Following your interview, you will be informed of the outcome usually within a day or two, however the interviewers will confirm this in the interview as it will depend on how many candidates are being interviewed.

If you have been successful at interview, you will receive a conditional offer.
All offers of employment at NYAS are subject to the completion of background checks and references, which include:
- References covering the last 5 years of employment
- Enhanced DBS check with child & adult barred list check
- Clarification of any gaps in your employment history
- Right to work in the UK
- Completion of training (depending on contract type)
- Evidence of your registration with relevant professional bodies (depending on role)
- Digital risk assessment
Carrying out these checks can take some time so we would appreciate your help with consenting to the different background checks and providing us with your referees in a timely manner so we can get you started as soon as possible.
