If you’re a child, young person or adult in need of some support and advice you can contact our Helpline by telephone, online chat, email or message us via WhatsApp. Our team of friendly helpline advisors are here to help.

Independent Monitoring

Independent Monitoring

Residential children’s homes are visited by an independent person once a month. They come to inspect the home. They talk to the young people living there to check if it is a safe place to live, and that they are happy, healthy and cared for.
