NYAS supports some of the most vulnerable children and young people.
How can you make a difference to a child’s life?
Securing funding for the NYAS National Advocacy Helpline – ensuring all young people can easily access advocacy support via the phone and online.
Growing the Independent Visitor Programme – raising local funds to enable volunteers to introduce young people they befriend to new activities and experiences during their visit.
Providing free legal advice to children and young people – NYAS is able to provide free legal advice and support for children and young people who fall outside of the legal aid guidelines who are not funded by Legal Aid. Your support will help young people access justice through legal advice and support which is not available elsewhere.
Enabling young people to draw on their experiences to support others – through offering young people with experience of care to mentor other young people and train as Peer Mentors.
Creating a louder and stronger voice for young people – by campaigning on their behalf of children and young people we can improve the lives of many more.
