NYAS (National Youth Advocacy Service), in partnership with Deloitte, is proud to have been awarded the ‘Commitment to the Local Community Award’ at the 9th annual Better Society Awards. This recognition highlights the exceptional efforts of NYAS and Deloitte driving voluntary initiatives that positively impact the local community within Wales.
The Better Society Awards took place on took place on Thursday 9th May at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, London and is renowned for celebrating business’ contributions to making a better, more equal, ethical and sustainable world. Recognition of NYAS Cymru’s collaboration with Deloitte exemplifies their shared commitment to social responsibility and community empowerment.

NYAS Cymru and Deloitte’s joint initiative have significantly contributed to enhancing the wellbeing and resilience of the local community in Wales. Innovative programmes and dedicated volunteering efforts, including the renovation of Grange Pavilion Hub and a Christmas gift drive, demonstrates the power of collaboration across the private and third-sector, delivering positive change and creating a more inclusive and sustainable future.
